Following on from their successful tour of Ireland in 2019, Clover’s Revenge takes its kick ass Irish Speed Folk music on the road again in the summer of 2021 for what will be another unforgettable trip to the Celtic nation of Scotland. This is your opportunity to join the band for eight nights and nine days of music, craic and whiskey. As well as the fun, we’ll visit some of the most beautiful places on the planet, take in Edinburgh and play music in some of the oldest pubs in the world. On the road we’ll visit Glasgow and Edinburgh and we’ll spend some time in the majestic Highlands. We’ll visit castles, medieval sights, distilleries and even kilt makers!! Trip Itinerary

DAY 1 - Welcome aboard!!!!
We’ll meet at Manchester International Airport at 10am. Once we have our luggage loaded onto our luxury coach, we’ll begin the journey to bonny Scotland. Along our journey today we’ll stop off at Hadrian’s Wall, which was built to guard the north-west frontier of England from the Scottish Clans. From there, we make our way to Glasgow, Scotland’s second city, which is most famous for its shipbuilding. This will be the first gig that Clover’s Revenge plays on its tour of Scotland.
DAY 2 - Today, we take the high road to Fort William
Today, we take the high road to Fort William, a city nestled at the foot of Ben Nevis, Scotland’s tallest peak. Along the way, we’ll stop of at the famous Loch Lomond to take in the stunning scenery, and also at Glencoe, the scene of the famous battle between the McDonald and Campbell clans in 1692. After a dram or two of the local whiskey, we’ll continue to Fort William where Clover’s Revenge will play their next performance.
DAY 3 - We’ll take a short drive along the ‘Road to the Isles”
Today we’ll take a short drive along the ‘Road to the Isles” to the beautiful fishing village of Mallaig. Along the way we’ll stop at the Glenfinnan Monument. This afternoon we’ll enjoy some down time in Mallaig as Clover’s Revenge hosts a pub acoustic session. We’ll make our way back to Fort William to relax and have the afternoon and evening to relax and stroll through the town.
DAY 4 - We travel north to the Isle of Skye
Today we leave Fort William and travel north to the Isle of Skye. The largest of the Inner Hebrides Islands, the Isle of Skye has a very rich history. Soon to be famous for its upcoming role in a Game of Thrones prequel series, the Isle of Skye features a history of clan warfare, the Highland Clearances and the infamous Bonnie Prince Charlie. The MacDonald and MacLeod Clans have their castles on the island. While we’re there, we’ll pay a visit while taking the time to properly sample the local whiskey.
DAY 5 - We make our way to Inverness
Today we make our way to Inverness, the capital of the Highlands. On our way, we’ll be stopping off for a tour of Loch Ness. Famous for its legendary monster, we’ll take a cruise along this famous Loch taking in the beauty, stopping at Urquhart Castle and possibly singing a few songs. Clover’s Revenge will perform that evening in a local pub in Inverness.
DAY 6 - Head south to Scotland’s capital, Edinburgh
Today we leave Inverness and head south to Scotland’s capital, Edinburgh. We’ll stop off for an amazing experience at Leault Farm, taking 90 minutes to learn about their working sheepdog farm with an incredible demonstration. Once comfortably situated in your hotel, you’ll have the rest of the day free to explore this wonderful city.
DAY 7 - Visit to the Edinburgh Castle
Today we’ll experience an unforgettable visit to the Edinburgh Castle. While we are there, we will take a tour to explore its fascinating vaults, towers, turrets, dungeons and ramparts. We’ll also take in the Harry Potter walking tour for all of the movie buffs.
DAY 8 - Explore the hidden wonders of Edinburgh
Today is your day to explore the hidden wonders of Edinburgh. Feel free to sleep in for the morning, go shopping, go drinking, – just make sure that you’re doing whatever you want to be doing. Edinburgh has endless hidden treasures to explore at your leisure. Today is your opportunity to book a ticket for the world famous Edinburgh Tattoo.
DAY 9 - Returning to Manchester for our onward journey
Unfortunately, all things must come to an end. Today, we must make our way back, returning to Manchester for our onward journey. We’ll leave Edinburgh at 10am to return to Manchester Airport approx. 2pm.
